REASON #1 : Knowledge, Skill and Experience. This means that you will not have an attorney who is using your matter to learn how to practice law.
REASON #2 : Special Training. This means that you will not have a "general practitioner" handling your case. The law is has become very complex, and to keep up with the changes in the law, we take continuing legal education classes which focus on the many aspects of estate planning and consumer law.
REASON #3 : Flat-Rate Fees. This means that you will know the exact cost of our legal services before you direct us to work on your behalf. And, all flat-rate fees are put in writing.
REASON #4 : Client-Focused Service. This means that your calls and emails are returned promptly, and you will receive a status report on your matter every two weeks. In addition, you will not be charged for short phone calls or answering emails.
REASON #5 : Guarantee. This means you can be sure that the legal work we perform will be of the highest caliber. If you find anything that does not meet your needs or expectations, bring it to our attention, and we will correct the situation immediately. If we fail to live up to this guarantee, we will return some or all of the fee you paid depending on the circumstances of your case. Many attorneys do not guarantee their services.
REASON #6 : Customized Estate Plans. This means that you will receive customized estate plans tailored to your needs and wishes instead of the fill-in-the-blank documents that produce poor estate plans.
REASON #7 : Specialized guardianship plans for minors. This means that you will have an attorney who has developed a special plan to ensure your children are protected if anything happens to you. Most attorneys do not provide this. If you have children, ask about our Child Protection Plan.
REASON #8 : Regular Follow-up. This means your estate plan will work for you during your lifetime. Other attorneys prepare the estate plan and send their clients on their way and never see them or speak to them again. This causes major problems down the road. Can you imagine paying for an estate plan that does not work for your family the way you intended? With regular follow-up, we make sure life changing events (e.g., birth of a child or buying a house) are incorporated into your estate plan.
REASON #9 : Understanding and Communication. This means that you will have an attorney who is very good at explaining complex issues in understandable ways.
